Today’s challenge is coming to you from Hand Stamped Sentiments Sketch Challenge. They have a fun sketch for you.
This is my take on the sketch:
Yes I am using gnomes again!! I think they are so cute and fun to color. I did a fun technique not sure the name of it, but I punched out some daisies and glued them to the blue square, then I put the blue square inside an embossing folder and ran it thru my big shot a couple of times.
I colored the gnome with my Schpirerr Farben color pencils, she is from the Chillin’ Gnomes set at Simon Says Stamps!. Cardstock I used is from MFT Limelight, Coral Crush, Cornflower, and Pineapple. I used the Medium Daisy punch and Dainty Diamonds embossing folder from Stamping’ Up!. I am having a lot of fun doing these challenges, it is getting me to use things in a new way.
Thanks for stopping by!
Over the weekend I had lot of crafting time,
so I was able to work on several challenges,
you will see the results over the next week.
Up first is Freshly Made Sketches and
the Color Throwdown challenge.
Who had skates like this when they were kids?
Not so much the yellow color just the style?!
I know I did! I loved to skate!
I used the Floral Frame stamp by Simon Says Stamp!.
It already had a circle and a row of flowers,
it was perfect for this challenge.
I colored the flowers with Castle Art color pencils
in yellow, orange and green for the color challenge.
Thanks for stopping by today.
Now that we are under the Stay at Home Order,
I have had more time to get caught up on my Card Kits.
I love the card kits from Simon Says Stamp!.
You get so many goodies in each box.
I am playing with the March Card KIt.
The lavender flower card is using the stamp set, paper, and
color pencils that came with the kit.
In the card kit you get 3 Suzy Plantamura custom
floral watercolor cards to color.
I colored this daisy one and used the Hello die
that came with kit too.
The blue flowers are the same stamp set as above,
but just placed differently.
Thanks for stopping by today. I hope you enjoyed these projects.
I will be back soon with more fun projects!
I made this cute card to send to my friends and family to let them know
I have been thinking of them during this shut down.
The stamp set that I used is Take Heart from Simon Says Stamp!.
I used my Copics to color with on these cards. Still practicing shading.
Thanks for stopping by, I hope you enjoyed my project today
. I’ll be back soon with more projects.
This is the cute Easter card that I sent to my grandkids.
