I made my card base out of patterned paper.  I used elements from the Photo Play Home for the Holiday Halloween to make my card.  There is no stamping.

The eye is from Tim Holtz idea-ology, Creepy eyes.  I used Wink Of Stella on the orange jar w/ the eye.

Head on over to Crafty Hazelnuts Patterned Paper Challenge to see what the rest of the Design Team has created for you and to get the rest of the details of the challenge.

Can’t wait to see what you create!

Trick or Treat

I can’t believe this is the last day of September!  It is time for a fun sketch over at Paper Craft Crew.  I hope you will give it a try!  I would love to see what you create.

The sketch:

My take on the sketch:

Trick or Treat

I challenged myself to use a Halloween kit that I bought a few months ago to make some cards with it. This is the first card I tried using it with the sketch.  There is no stamping on the card.  It’s all elements from the kit.  The kit is Photoplay, Gnome for the Holiday Halloween.

Fab-BOO-lous Friends

Here is a fun Halloween card I created to send to one of my grandchildren’s.  The stamps are from MFT, Fab-BOO-lous Friends.  The ghosts in this set are so cute!!

Fab-BOO-lous Friends

I colored the ghosts with Copic markers.  The Film die strip and banner are also from MFT.  It’s hard to tell but, I went over the web, spider, and bats with black Wink of Stella.

Witchy Newton

It’s time for another fun sketch challenge over at Paper Craft Crew.

The sketch for this week:

PCC 392

My take on the sketch:  I went with a Halloween theme.  I used a stamp from Newton’s Nook Designs, Witchy Newton.  I colored the stamp image with Hethrone markers.

The backwash I created with Shimmer paint, Lemon Lime Twist reinker, and water.  I used a wide brush paint brush to make swish marks.  It’s hard to tell in pictures but it does have a shimmer to it.

Background wash

I sponged Tim Holtz’s Distress Oxide Wilted Violet on the white corrugated banner.(it is old and retired from Stampin’ Up!)  But I still have brand new packs of it not open until today.

Happy Halloween!

I know it’s been a few weeks since my last post and a lot has happened.  I got pneumonia and have been sick since I last posted. I am finally feeling better and able to craft/stamp again.  I wanted to thank Brian and Nicole Watt at Integrant Services for updating my blog and creating my beautiful new logos.  I have a lot of catching up to do so I hope you will check back to see what I have been creating.  Today I have a couple of Halloween treats that I will be passing out to those for non-candy.
