Happy Saturday!  It is time for another Christmas challenge over at the Crafty Hazelnuts Christmas Challenge.  As always it is anything goes as long as it is Christmas.

Optional Theme:  For Someone Special

Every week a prize is given to a randomly chosen winner.

Our Crew

Isn’t this a cute stamp?  It’s from Darcie’s heart & home, Our Crew.  I colored the image with my Schpirerr Farben  color pencils.  It’s hard to tell, but I used clear Wink of Stella on the round snowflakes.  I used Ranger Liquides Perles for the fur on the Santa hat.

Nutty & Bright

There is a new challenge over at Crafty’s Hazelnuts Christmas Challenge blog.  As always it’s anything goes as long as it is Christmas.

Optional Theme:  Pattern Paper

I decided to add the optional theme Pattern Paper to my card.

Nutty & Bright

Nutty & Bright 2I was looking thru my Christmas stamps, I forgot I had this cute little chipmunk.  The chipmunks living under my garage floor and digging it up are not so cute.  I prefer the stamp ones over the real ones.  I colored the chipmunk with Schpirerr Farben color pencils, stamp is from Simon Says Stamp! Nutty & Bright.  I used clear Wink of Stella on the white parts of the santa hat.  I hope you will join us this week and show us your creations.  Click HERE to see what the rest of the Design Team has created for you.

Penguin Sign

Today I’m sharing my first card as a member of the Design Team for:

It is a Christmas challenge each week with a different theme.

This week’s theme is:  Embossing (wet or dry) #504

Penguin Sign

I used a snowflake embossing folder on Wood Textures DSP from Stampin’ Up!.  I then colored each snowflake with clear Wink of Stella to give them a little sparkle.  You can kind of see it in the picture below.   I stamped the penguin in extreme black from MFT.   The penguin is from Pretty Pink Posh, Holiday Signs. I colored it with Stampin’ Write markers and words are stamped with Berry Burst ink also from Stampin’ Up!.

I hope you will join us in this weekly challenge.  It’s a great way to get your holiday cards done.  Want more inspiration click here to see what the rest of the Design Team has created for you.
