I colored the imaged with Prismacolor color pencils.  Papers are from Stampin’ Up!.  I sprayed the card front with Altenew’s Ink Spray, Antique Gold.

Altenew Academy Cards, The Journey Begins

I am pretty excited to have been accepted into the Altenew Educator Certification Program.  To start, I have to completed 10 of their Altenew Academy classes.  I have completed the first one All About Layering 1.  It was a great class on layering and lining up Altenew stamps.  In this class I learned how to line up the stamps for perfect layering,  The projects that were created were very inspiring, which help me pick my stamp set for my card today.  I used the stamps Beautiful Heart from Altenew.

Stacey/All About Layering

This stamp set has 3 step layering stamping for the flower and leaves.  After I stamped the images I cut them out.  I adhered them to a piece of Kraft cardstock from Sweet Sentiments, I also stamped on it too.  I used dimensionals under the flower to pop it up a bit.  I embossed the center of the flower and sentiment with Altenew Antique gold embossing powder.  I used Altenew Crisp Dye ink for stamp images, Grass Fields, Forest Glades, Shadow Creek, Dew Drops, Ocean Waves, and Galactic Stream.

Thanks for stopping by and following me on this exciting journey!

Blue Spring Daisy Altenew Layering Class

Here is another card from the Altenew Layering class that I am taking.  We are still working with signal layering stamping.  I used the Spring Daisy stamps again. It’s a very versatile set.  This time I stamped it in Altenew Crisp Dye Ink Dark Night, Nimbus, and Pumpkin Pie.  I colored the stem and leaves with Altenew Artist Marker G935.  The ribbon is from Stampin’ Up!.
